Happy Trails

Happiness it’s what we all strive for. A lot of times it’s the little things in life that make us happy. It’s been shown that older adults show more signs of happiness then younger adults. Despite more health issues, they are happier. Young adults have higher anxiety, anger, financial stress, depression levels. I admit I contribute a lot of my own anxiety and stress. Who doesn’t though? Did you know though that the conscience brain can only hold one thought at a time, so it should be a positive one. Hang on to the positive and good thoughts, and quickly get rid of negative ones. You only live once. Why worry and fret over small things that don’t matter in the big picture?? Do at least one thing a day that makes you happy, and remember that, forget everything else. It didn’t matter!! Just remember QTIP: Quit Taking It Personally.
